‎JAMB Cut-Off Mark for Universities 2025/2026: Full List for Federal, State and Private Institutions

‎The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the general UTME minimum score required for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025/2026 academic year. This crucial benchmark determines a candidate’s eligibility for admission into Nigeria’s federal, state, and private universities.

‎General JAMB Cut-Off Mark for 2025/2026
‎The national minimum JAMB cut-off mark for universities in 2025/2026 is 140. However, this is only a baseline. Institutions — especially competitive ones — are permitted to set higher minimum scores for various programs.
‎Why 140?
‎JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, explained that the 140 cut-off was agreed upon after reviewing:
